Pop-up books become PopAR — augmented realty Augmented reality combines cameras, computers, connectivity, and displays to overlay information and graphics — or in this case, to help kids learn and have fun. Scott Jochim is the CEO of Digital Tech Frontier, where he has built on his ten years of technology work in the education industry to develop new augmented reality tools that read images and to trigger new experiences onscreen for kids with PopAR: augmented books that work with smart phones and webcam-equipped PCs.
